Fanny Whetham
NeĆ©:Searjeant  Born:1751  Died:1835

Fanny Searjeant married Stephen Whetham at St Vedast, Foster Lane in the City of London on 1st Oct, 1771. It is assumed that she was the sister of Mary Sergeant who was described as "late of the City of London but now of Netherbury" when she bought the dwellinghouse now known as Yew Tree Cottages in 1790.

Stephen later surrendered the copyholdType of feudal land tenure
with duties and obligations
to the Lord of the Manor
for the house to his Grandson - Matthew Denziloe - so it is assumed that it passed from Mary to Fanny when Mary dies in 1833.
